The incumbent will fulfil the role of support in the business intelligence functions of BKB. The role will require a person who is eager to learn and gain work experience. They will work closely with the IT team and Business to assist in turning data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. The incumbent will build an understanding of the business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues. Provide data that is accurate, congruent, and reliable, and ensure the information is readily available to users for direct consumption.

BI Analysts educate and train clients to use data as an analytical tool, displaying the information in new forms and content for the purpose of analysis and option exploration.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma majoring in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are required
- Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack including, SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint
- Experience with and knowledge of data warehousing
- Strong knowledge of data structures, analysis
- Experience writing SQL Queries (minimum of 2 years)
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office Professional application suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
- Knowledge of ERP application – SYSPRO – beneficial
Job Functions:
- Review report data to ensure integrity of data
- Test data to identify and understand anomalies
- Creation of Visual Reports using Power BI and ZAP
- Develop, maintain, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Integrate Power BI reports with various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, Azure, SharePoint and cloud services
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements for Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Provide training and support to business users on Power BI usage and apply best practices.
- Work with IT and data teams to ensure data governance and security policies are adhered to.
